What is a Juvéderm Voluma Treatment Like?
Voluma restoration treatments can be performed as an in-office, same day procedure. The short 15-minute treatment consists of locating optimal injection sites and the actual injection itself. Because Juvéderm Voluma gel contains lidocaine, no other anesthetic is necessary but a topical anesthetic can be applied to decrease your discomfort, if you like. You may feel a slight pinch as the micro-needle is inserted but the majority of patients do not have any issues. The numbing lidocaine solution helps keep patients comfortable throughout the procedure.
How long does Juvéderm Voluma results last?

What to expect while recovering from Juvéderm Voluma injections?
You can return to work and other normal activities immediately after your appointment. Some patients have no side effects, while others experience some minor bruising and swelling at the injection sites, which usually resolve within a few days. If you do end up with a bruise, we offer a complimentary laser treatment to help break up the bruise and clear it away faster.
